The club does not play on public holidays. Otherwise sessions are on Mondays and Fridays.

Special note for members for the forthcoming 2025/2026 season - there is a new club bank account for membership and match fees. The old account is now closed. Details of the new account have been emailed out.
Sportsganiser is now the master list of match fixtures. A separate Google Calendar will no longer be maintained. If you're selected for a team but don't have access please ask a member of the committee.
Matches
Matches
Selection for teams happens in the first few weeks of the season in September. Members should expect an email from the selection committee requesting which teams they wish to be considered for.
Teams are entered in both the York & District and Yorkshire leagues.
Y&D matches are usually played weekday evenings both home and away within the York and District area from October to April.
Yorkshire league matches are played at weekends.
If you are selected for a team it really helps your team captain if you let them know what matches you know you can't make as early as possible.
FIXTURES ARE USUALLY FINALISED AND AVAILABLE BY THE END OF SEPTEMBER AT THE START OF EACH SEASON.

Clifton regularly hosts its own club tournaments over the course of the season, as match dates allow. Please see our social media channels for details.

A long running inter-club tournament is also held every year with our friends from the King Penguins Club in Surrey. For details of the Penguins and King Penguins, please click here.
