Welcome to Clifton badminton club, York, England.
If you are looking for a badminton club to join or are visiting the York area,
why not come to one of our club sessions on a Monday or Friday night.
Clifton badminton club is affiliated to Badminton England.
We are a friendly club that welcomes new members who wish either to play
socially or join our teams. For further information refer to the about us page.
Clifton BC cater for all levels of badminton. Whether you are a beginner, a junior or require competitive badminton we are the
club for you.

We have teamed up with Badminton England and the City of York Council to offer a great opportunity for casual players.
No Strings Badminton is a fresh new badminton initiative that makes it extremely sociable anyone to grab a racket, rally with friends and head on court for action.

If you feel that you wish to play more regularly at a higher level then Clifton can offer a competitive, friendly club which offers
regular club nights with teams to play in in local leagues.
The club places emphasis on competitive badminton and welcomes high standard players looking for a high standard of badminton. We have a busy list of fixtures but nevertheless,
for social play we always reserve a minimum of 3 courts on a club night.

Clifton badminton club is very proud to play at the venue and be sponsored by Energise Sports Centre.
Energise is a fantastic sports centre for the residents of York and surrounding area. They provide Clifton Badminton Club a six-badminton-court Sports Hall that
has now reopened following installation of a brand new solid wood sprung floor and new court markings.
